PRSA Leaders Wanted: Inquire Within

Leadership in PRSA Puget Sound is an opportunity to make an impact on your profession, meet new colleagues, learn from others, and have fun!  We have opportunities to match every interest, experience level or time commitment. Consider the following opportunities and benefits they bring to you and others, and feel free to reach out to any member of the board of directors with questions!

Board of Directors Leadership

Interested in impacting wide ranging decision-making, and representing the chapter? Our board of directors connect with professionals across Puget Sound to ensure programs and events are meaningful and relevant.

Recruitment for open seats on the board of directors begins each spring with a chapter-wide call for leadership.  The process involves filling out a simple Nomination Form. Members are strongly encouraged to self-nominate, nominate other members (with the members’ consent) and a nomination committee also conducts outreach for board prospects. All nominees, whether self-nominated or otherwise, must be PRSA national and chapter members in good standing.

The nominating committee prepares a slate of candidates (minimum of one, maximum of three) for all available offices based upon the nominations received.  Members attending the annual meeting vote on the slate of candidates.

Committee Leadership

Have an area that interests you?  Committee leadership is an opportunity to lead a team of colleagues to do good work in a specific area, such as diversity, student outreach, membership, or programs. Browse our committees below to see a fit that works for you.
