Why Join PRSSA?

PRSSA membership connects you to something bigger than your campus — a nationwide network of students and professionals who are just as passionate about PR as you are. In the Puget Sound, that means access to local mentors, chapter events, scholarships, and a professional community that's rooting for you from day one.

  • Build real relationships. Connect with working PR professionals through mentorship, networking events, and site visits.

  • Get recognized for your work. PRSSA members in our region are eligible for scholarships that reward academic excellence and professional drive.

  • Find your people. Whether you're exploring PR or already set on it, PRSSA puts you in the room with others who get it.

For PR Professionals: Get Involved

The next generation of PR talent is already out there — studying, building skills and looking for professionals who can show them what this industry really looks like. Here's how you can help.

Sponsor a PRSSA Student Membership

Help a student access the professional resources, networking and programming that PRSSA membership unlocks before they even enter the workforce. Sponsorships directly support students across Western Washington campuses.

Host a Site Visit

Open your doors (or your Zoom) to students curious about what a PR career actually looks like day-to-day. Site visits give students a behind-the-scenes look at both agencies and in-house teams. Interested? Send us an email. [email protected]

Become a Mentor

Share your experience one-on-one with a student navigating their early career. Whether you have an hour a month or more to give, mentorship makes a real difference. Get in touch with us! [email protected]

Interested in any of the above or have another idea for how to support students? We're open to it. Reach out at [email protected] and Kate or Makenna will get back to you.
