Professional of the Year
Overview
The PR Professional of the Year Award recognizes a Puget Sound area public relations professional who has best demonstrated professionalism, innovation and involvement in the field of public relations within the past year.
Eligibility
- Open exclusively to PRSA Puget Sound chapter members currently practicing in the public relations field.
- The majority of the nominee’s submitted achievements must have occurred during the past year.
Entries

Nominations must be submitted by a PRSA Puget Sound chapter member on behalf of a fellow chapter member. (Self-nominations are not accepted.)
Evaluation

While heavily weighted toward professional success, judges will also evaluate how the nominee demonstrates a commitment to integrity, ethical practice, and advancing the PR profession through community involvement or service.
Selection

A panel of chapter and board members will select the winner. The committee may elect not to present an award if a suitable candidate is not identified.
