Port of Seattle Commissioner and longtime marine conservationist Fred Felleman will join The Whale Museum’s Executive Director Jenny Atkinson to give us the latest information on orca whales in the Pacific Northwest. The public has long been fascinated with both the tragedies and joys of the endangered J Pod, the southern resident community of orca whales inhabiting the Salish Sea. We’ll talk about how communications play a vital role in maintaining protections for these orcas and are leading to better environmental actions in our Pacific Northwest waters.

Participation in this virtual event is free, however, advance registration is required. Upon registration, you will receive an email with access instructions. If you do not receive the email within one hour of registering, please check your junk mail folder, then email programs /at/ prsapugetsound.org. Donations to PRSA Puget Sound to defray event expenses are gratefully accepted and can be made during registration.
