INFOdemic?

It wasn't much more than a week ago that many of us were trying to figure out what events to keep or cancel and learning about elbow bumps and foot taps to stay healthy. Now we're social distancing at 6-foot minimums if not maintaining space in an entirely different building and late adopters are learning how to video conference.

That's a lot of change to digest.

In fact, according to the World Health Organization, there is an "infodemic". With so much information to digest by the minute comes the danger that people become overwhelmed and simply tune out during this time when it is critical we are each well-informed.

To help, PRSA has created this INFOdemicRx infographic showing a simple, three-step guide to help consumers and communities find the information they need amidst conflicting claims, hype, misinformation, disinformation, and information overload.

Facts matter. Lives depend on it. Pass it on.

Stay well,
