PRSA Puget Sound Awards

Since 1978, PRSA Puget Sound has hosted an annual awards program to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in public relations. Since its inception, the program has been called the Totem Awards. With our knowledge of cultural appropriation and the fact that a name alone is not appropriate representation or honor, we are forging a new path forward. We are seeking ideas for a new name for our annual awards and welcome your suggestions by 11:59 p.m. on April 7. We plan to announce the new name as part of our awards activities in June.

The PRSA Puget Sound Awards showcase the creativity and accomplishment for the public relations industry in the Puget Sound area. The awards program is designed to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in public relations and is open to all organizations; both PRSA members and non-members may submit entries. Preparing an award entry is a good way to prepare a National PRSA Silver or Bronze Anvil Award, since the entry formats are similar.

The deadline for entry for the 2021 PRSA Puget Sound Awards is April 7, 2021.
