Building Trust and Affinity through Digital Storytelling
June 28 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
At a time when public trust in institutions is eroding, connecting the right stories to the right audiences matters more than ever. To encourage stakeholders to develop and strengthen emotional connections to the University of Washington (UW), the University’s marketing and communications team is creating digital content that immerses audiences in a storytelling experience. After producing nearly two dozen of these “immersive stories,” the positive internal and external responses have validated our communications strategy and story development process — an award-winning approach that can be used by communications professionals across a range of industries. Join UW Assistant Vice President for Communications Jack Martin, APR, and Strategic Communications Manager Meg Matthews for this fascinating look at building trust and affinity through digital storytelling.
