Every year, tens of thousands of people arrive in Las Vegas in early January to experience what technology will look like in the coming year.

As an industry analyst, I get to attend the CES trade show (formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show) and, each year, the amount of innovation that I see on the show floor (and off) never ceases to amaze me.
