Targeting the LGBT Market: Smart Practices to Lend Diversity to Your Communications!

PUGET SOUND - 206.623.8632

It's becoming more widely accepted that brands and businesses should be reaching out to the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) consumer market. In 2013, the estimated buying power of this market segment was $830 billion. Therefore, it's surprising when a national brand does not target the LGBT community on any marketing channel. But for those brands that do market to this segment, simply swapping an image of a heterosexual couple for a same-sex couple is not enough.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn best practices for reaching the LGBT market
  • Understand how to apply the do's and don'ts to your marketing visuals and messaging
  • Take home some great ideas on outreach tactics that are authentic and not simply publicity seeking

Join us over lunch for this timely insight during Gay Pride Month and come away with a better understanding on bringing diversity to your communications to better reach LGBT audiences!
