Social Media Ethics Made Easy: How to Comply with FTC Disclosure Guidelines

Whether shopping online, booking travel, or researching a service, many of us rely on customer reviews as a source of information. While once a reliable source, many reviews have been infiltrated with fake reviews and testimonials. It's harder than ever to discern real from fake reviews

Join us Wednesday, February 28th as Joseph Barnes an educator and experienced leader in digital media guides us through the murky waters of social media for customers and how organizations can establish and create a social media policy for their own organizations.

In this presentation, Joseph will show the good, the bad, and the ugly of social media posts. He'll also show what the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) expects from every business and organization, how to create a social media policy, where to find the templates, and cover some of the most popular questions asked by PR and communication practitioners.
