Communication Across Generations: PR Panel

Join us for an interactive discussion about communication across generations! This panel will focus on what commonalities we share and how we can use our different experiences and backgrounds to be better communicators.


Lindsey Boisvin - Lindsey is an Assistant Advisor at JayRay Ads and PR in Tacoma. She collaborates with the JayRay team to implement social media strategies, pitch to reporters, analyze data trends and more. Lindsey first interned at JayRay in early 2016 after graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle. She received a Communications degree with a focus in Journalism. At the end of November, Lindsey will transition into a new role at Costco as a Social Media Content Developer.

Jen Aalgaard, APR - Jen is the Communications Program Manager for Amazon Flex in Seattle. She is the President-Elect of the PRSA Puget Sound Chapter. Jen graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Communications with Public Relations emphasis and minors in Journalism & Counseling. Jen recently received her master’s in Communication and Digital Media from University of Washington.

Andy Oden, APR - Andy is the Field Outreach Director of Generation to Generation Seattle. He received his degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.

The South Sound Group meets at 8 a.m. – doors open early for networking – for the one-hour programs in the first floor board room at Metro Parks Tacoma headquarters, 4702 S. 19th St.

Cost is $5 for PRSA members, $10 for nonmembers. Please sign in at the door.

Refreshments are included, no reservations necessary.

Directions: From I-5 north or south, take SR-16 toward Gig Harbor. Take the 19th Street East exit toward Cheney Stadium, turn right on 19th, and then right into the Metro Parks Tacoma parking lot. Note: Please leave the customer-designated parking open for Metro Parks.
